The Government of India has decided to assist Burkina Faso, a land-locked West African country, in setting up its first call centre. Noel Kabore, Minister for Post and Communications and IT, Burkina Faso is in talks with the Indian government regarding this. The minister expressed the need for IT collaboration with India. The call centre will employ 400 people, and its construction will begin with financial assistance provided by the Export-Import (Exim) Bank of India. Exim will provide a loan of $5 million to build the call centre, for which the officials from Burkina Faso have opened talks with their Indian counterparts. |
