IVRCL Infra Gears Up for Projects worth Rs 958 Cr

IVRCL Infrastructures, a renowned engineering procurement and construction (EPC) company in India, has made an official announcement that it has won a string of contracts in various sectors. Worth around Rs 958 crore, the contracts involve projects in sectors ranging from transportation and irrigation to building and power. One of the most prominent of the projects has been awarded to the company by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). It involves strengthening and rehabilitation of NH 1A—from Km 26 to Km 70 in Punjab. The project will include the construction of several major and minor bridges, underpasses, two-lane truss bridges over irrigation canals, culverts, grade separators, and repair of existing bridges. Set for a duration of 30 months, the project will involve a capital of around Rs 360 crore.



Another of the major construction contracts bagged by the company is the development of a comprehensive water supply scheme for Ambattur Municipality in Tamil Nadu. Awarded by the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Chennai, the project involves the development of a distribution system and distribution station, as well as the laying of conveying systems. The project is expected to require 24 months for completion and involve an expenditure of around Rs 123 crore.
