Vietnam Architecture Exhibition 2010 was organised at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center at District 7 in Vietnam. The event was organised with the goal of bringing together world-class exhibitors on a single platform and bringing about effective dissemination of information and technology in the architecture domain. The exhibition attracted a huge number of exhibitors, approximately 120 of whom were local players while the rest were from foreign countries. The exhibitors and attendees were from architecture firms, building material manufacturers, real-estate investors and players from other industries.

The central focus of the Vietnam Architecture Exhibition 2010 was the city’s urban planning strategy and architectural advancement, specifically the use of sustainable technologies such as energy-saving systems and environment-friendly residential districts and living spaces. The exhibitors displayed largescale models of structures, technologies and innovative building materials. The event also conducted seminars on the future of old and new urban areas in Vietnam, along with discussions on the local architectural styles in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Officials at the event said that the city’s sustainable development plans require focus on architecture from the perspective of its sustainability and environmental impact. |
