Disha Direct Marketing Services Pvt Ltd, a trustworthy real estate player pioneering the second home concept in India, has recently announced their foray into the hospitality and leisure industry. The Indian hospitality industry is pegged at US$17 billion and is expected to grow to US$36 billion by 2018.

 
The company plans to invest Rs 300 crore in the hospitality division, christened Greenarth Leisure Pvt. Ltd. The company will begin operations with Maharashtra and Goa, followed by other locations shortly, according to the latest company press release.
 
Greenarth is a chain of leisure resorts set up in naturally beautiful locales combining the fine experience of a club, recreation and holiday, with activities revolving close to nature. Every Greenarth resort is being crafted with an architectural theme, comprising earth, aqua, green and life.
 
On the sidelines of a press conference held at Hotel Trident, Mumbai, Santosh Naik, managing director of Disha Direct spoke extensively on the idea behind venturing into hospitality industry. Mr Naik said, “There is a gap in the leisure segment and given a chance, families would love to take off to close-by weekend destinations as frequently as possible. Thus was born the idea of Greenarth Leisure offering getaways as short as 1-2 days, which can be spontaneously decided by the family.”
 
Greenarth has a chain of resorts along Mumbai-Pune, Mumbai-Ahmedabad, Mumbai-Nashik, Mumbai-Nagar highways, allowing members a quick break at anytime convenient to the family.
 
Amenities & membership details 
 
The extensive range of amenities offered by Greenarth leisure resorts will give its customers a “truly unique combination of eco-richness and recreation for mind, body and soul.”  
 
Elaborating the resort amenities at the press conference, Subodh Gupte, vice-president (Operations) at Greenarth Leisure, said, “Members are sure to find manicured lawns, landscapes, waterscapes, beautiful gardens and river decks across all our resorts. Our recreation facilities include horse riding, boating, river crossing, jungle walks & trekking, paragliding and water sports, besides routine activities like indoor games and swimming.” The resorts also offer a fine dining experience with Indian, Oriental, Continental and local speciality cuisines, he added.
 
The company has come up with cost-effective family membership cards, which starts at Rs 30,000 for 30 nights on weekdays or 10 nights on weekends and extends till Rs 50,000 for 60 nights on weekdays or 20 nights on weekends. In addition, families will get 20% discount on food bill, with every visit. A family of 2 adults and 2 children below 18 years are entitled to the privilege.
 
Greenarth Lakeview at Vikramgad, Manor, off Mumbai Ahmedabad Highway, has been launched. Greenarth Riverside at Wada, Greenarth Orchid at Alibaug, Greenarth Bollywood Blues at Karjat, Greenarth Tierra at Roha and Greenarth Life at Kasara will soon open and establish Greenarth Leisure as one of the fastest growing resort chains in Maharashtra.
